About the Speakers:
Casey Herrera, DDS
Dr. Herrera has been practicing periodontics for 22 years. Prior to this she was a
practicing dental hygienist for 8 years. She is especially passionate about communication,
educating patients, and regeneration in periodontics.
Rick Williams: Straumann USA
Rick has over 8 years experience lecturing on these topics. He has worked with
private dental practices, specialty practices, and group practice organizations to enhance
overall patient care through education, establishing protocols, and incorporating effective patient communication.

State Continuing Education Requirements
The minimum requirement for each renewal period is 25 hours of continuing education, including:
* Basic Life Support. Licensees renewing for the first time are exempt from this requirement.
* 2 hours of California Infection Control
* 2 hours of California Dental Practice Act

35 CE's for relicensure.
